Bendigo Easter Festival

Bendigo DragonThe Bendigo Easter Festival of one of Victoria’s oldest and grandest regional festivals, featuring entertainment over four days and a street parade including the worlds longest traditional Chinese dragon.

2010 is a the 140th birthday year and the 40th appearance of the ‘Sun Loong’ Imperial Dragon. There will be a special birthday celebration at the Golden Dragon Museum on Thursday the 1st of April, kicking off the four day festival.

This is one of our favourite festivals at Festival Entertainment Australia and we have performed their many times.

This year the Bendigo Easter Fair will be held from the 2nd to 5th April 2010

4th: We Built This City
4th: Torchlight Procession and Fireworks
4th: Downtown Bendigo Rock & Blues Festival
5th: Downtown Bendigo Rock & Blues Festival
5th: Awakening of the Dragon
5th: Gala Parade

There will be a carnival all weekend at the Tom Flood Sports Centre, Water St, Bendigo.

The Bendigo Easter Festival is now calling for volunteers across a range of opportunities, providing a great experience for all those that get involved.
